this Tuesday my brother and i went to Southern part of Taiwan with my grandmother and 2 uncles. This trip was to move the bones of my great-grandfather from tomb to the 靈骨塔. So we spent 2 days at 麥寮, where my dad used to grow up at, to be part of the ceremony.
It was a really different experience as I never got to see my great-grandfather in my life, but yesterday, i got to see his bones... I also got to meet a lot of relatives (they are alive) that i dunno who they are ( so i juz stand aside and stone... quite boring actually)
the most extreme experience happened when i saw some people sitting outside the 靈骨塔 with some things on their mats. at first i thought they were selling things related to funeral. however, after a closer look, i suddenly realised that the things are human skeletons!!! these skeletons were wrapped with red strings and arranged in a organised manner, some even with skulls.... it was quite a really scary experience =.=
this time my grandmother, my brother and i were staying at my grand-uncle's place. the relatives are super nice people ^^ my little cousin is so cute ~~ keeps sticking with me and even wants only me to feed her ^0^ my brother said i was not playing with her, i was playing her :p(but she can only speak Hokkian.. and language is never my strength =.='' so there is certain communication problem existing ) However the other one is really noisy =.= kept screaming around and stopped me from watching my favourite cartoon and television ><.. bad boy
P.S. coz the place i went is too spiritual, i dun dare to take any photos (scared there will be ghosts appearing in them =S) so no photo this time..
